Answer:
How can I answer this fairly? My answer will no doubt be biased, based on the amount of material I’ve read with each character. I’m way more familiar with Fantastic Four than the X-Men.
I’m going to put it out there and say the current version of Reed, I don’t really find to be that much of a shitlord. He’s a flawed character, for sure, but he seems to care about his family very much and he has been known to own up to his faults. He is far, far from perfect.
Silver age Reed is another story! You might as well have stamped KING OF ALL SHITWIZARDS on his misogynist forehead. So I really feel like Reed has grown as a character.
Reed still has the potential for great assholery and monstrous behavior, if you factor in the alternate versions of him. Like, Nazi Reed, here, staring into your soul.
Confession time: before I read any Fantastic Four, I automatically assumed that Reed was the worst sort of person. Because my exposure to him were either Silver Age choice panels or other panels taken out of context to make him look like Dr. Shitwizard.
So that is why I can’t really rate what sort of asshole Scott is? I feel I haven’t read enough material to fairly judge his character. Especially based on recent events, I’m like WHAT THE HALE IS WRONG WITH YOU SCOTT.
Buuut if you insist, a scale of assholes:
Nazi Reed > Silver Age Reed > Scott Summers > Reed Richards
