Well anon, I just think he’s overrated. I didn’t like Civil War. I didn’t like his run of Ultimate Fantastic Four and it didn’t help that he was paired with Land tbh. His run of regular Fantastic Four wasn’t too bad, but then I feel like maybe editors had more control over what he was writing and he wasn’t given free reign to completely shit all over characters I like. I’m not even going to discuss the Masters of Doom arc. That was a steaming pile of crap and took Doom to new OOC levels and was only good for a few panels for out-of-context lols. I’ve already mentioned what I thought of Wanted.

I don’t know, I feel like he makes characters really smarmy and unlikeable. It’s not that I don’t like ~*edgy*~ comics, because sometimes I am in the mood for that sort of thing. Maybe it’s that I feel there are others that do a better job of doing edgy, like Warren Ellis. I mean, I can read a comic by Ellis and still end up not hating everyone in the comic.
